Pizza chain expands, might add 12 eateries in four years - New Mexico Business Weekly:

, which has four Triad locations, will open a site in High Poin and anotherin Winston-Salem by the end of the said Jamey Horton, principal partner for LLC, the franchise operator for the area. The High Point site will be in Palladium Commons near the intersectioh of Samet Driveand N.C. 68, but the site in Winston-Salen isn’t yet determined. Horton said he is finalizing the lease for the HighPointt site, which will be about 2,600 square feet and will need $350,000 to $500,000 worthj of upfits. It is scheduled to open in the fall, likelyu in September.
Additionally, Horton said he is negotiatinb a land purchase for thenew Winston-Salem He will either retrofit an existing building or construcgt a new restaurant, which will cost up to Depending on how quicklyu the deal moves, it will open between Novembe and January. Each restaurant will require aboutt 25 to35 employees, including managers, cooks and deliverh drivers. The projects are being financed by Horton and his partnersa inTriad Pizzeria, he said, adding that he has not selected a generakl contractor yet. Triad Pizzeria has Donatos locationasin Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Burlington and Clemmons.
Horton also said he is committefd to a contract withthe Ohio-based company to open three to four eateriesw annually for the next four to five Ray Collins, president of Winston-Salem-based and the broker for the Donatozs deal, said the recession and real estates slump has made it easier for businessee such as Triad Pizzeria to negotiate lower construction, land and lease costs, making expansion more feasible.
